Counter and cabinet size
Your sink choice is restricted by the size of the cabinet and counter top. Measuring each correctly will help you save time and guide you into making the right choice.
- Measure the cabinet size under the existing sink or where the new sink will go.
Measure from gable to gable (left to right) See Diagram A. Be sure to measure from OUTSIDE EDGE to OUTSIDE EDGE.
This is the MINIMUM CABINET SIZE.
Only a sink with this cabinet size measurement or smaller will fit.
Many sink manufacturers will tell you the minimum cabinet size required for each of their sinks.
- Most kitchen cabinets are standard 24" measurement front to back. The width (front to back measurement) of the sink that can be used is determined by this measurement and whether or not the counter top has a back splash. See diagrams B andC.

- If the counter top has no back splash and the cabinet is of standard size, a sink that measures up to 22" deep (front to back) will fit. See diagram Diagram B
- If the counter top has a back splash, a sink with front to back depth of up to 20-1/2" will fit. See Diagram C.

In brief:
With standard cabinet size of 24" and counter top with no backsplash:
A sink of up to 22" depth should fit.
With cabinet size of 24" and counter top with a backsplash:

BLANCO Warranty Statement
STAINLESS STEEL, SILGRANIT® AND SILACRON® SINKS
BLANCO CANADA INC. hereafter referred to as BLANCO, is pleased to offer a limited lifetime warranty with all BLANCO sinks used in normal domestic installations. BLANCO warrants its sinks to be free from all manufacturing defects in material and workmanship.
BLANCO will repair or replace, at no charge, excluding labour, any sink supplied by BLANCO that is proven to be defective under normal use. An equivalent replacement will be issued to the original owner provided the defective sink was installed in accordance with BLANCO installation procedures, used and cleaned as recommended and not damaged due to abuse, misuse or negligence. Chips, scratches and stains are not deemed to be manufacturing defects. BLANCO will not be held liable for chips, scratches and stains that can occur under normal use over a period of time. Please refer to cleaning instructions to maintain your sink in its original appearance. BLANCO shall not be held liable under this warranty where the sink has been used in a non-domestic application, improperly installed, damaged from the impact caused by a heavy object being dropped on the sink or for improper handling. BLANCO shall not be liable for any inconvenience or expense for material or labour related to the removal or replacement of a defective sink or for any loss or damage to any person or property whatsoever resulting from the defective sink. All transportation costs to and from the point of purchase will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Any sink returned must be in the original packaging and include all the accompanying accessories, parts and documentation. BLANCO reserves the right to inspect any sink reported to be defective prior to replacement of the sink.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Excluded are any accessories that accompany the sink (strainers, waste fittings, waste chutes etc.). BLANCO guarantees all sink accessories to be free from manufacturing defects for one year.
ACCESSORIES
BLANCO warrants its accessories for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
FAUCETS
All faucets are thoroughly checked and tested in the factory. However, if the faucet has a manufacturing defect, BLANCO reserves the right to replace the damaged part or the entire faucet.
BLANCO warrants is faucets to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a period of TWO YEARS from the date of purchase. BLANCO warrants the finish and the ceramic disk cartridge to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship for a «LIFETIME » to the original owner of the faucet. If the cartridge proves to be defective during the warranty period, BLANCO will provide a replacement free of charge.

Mechanical components, hand spray and hoses: 2 years
This warranty does not cover faucets which have been improperly installed or subject to improper use or used in a location other than a residential kitchen or faucets which have been damaged due to mineral deposits or the use of corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents. This warranty does not cover shipping costs, labour costs or any other cost associated with the installation or replacement of the product/parts and is extended only to the original consumer purchaser of the faucet.
BLANCO is not responsible or liable for indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of its faucets and its liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective material at the location of purchase.
OBLIGATION TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER
The original dated sales receipt must be retained by the customer and is the only acceptable proof of purchase.
BLANCO makes no additional warranties, expressed or implied and any implied warranty including that of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited in its duration to the duration of the written limited warranties set forth herein.
No employee, agent or other person is authorized to provide any warranty on behalf of BLANCO for a BLANCO product that is in addition to or different from the warranty stated above unless the warranty has been previously approved by an authorized BLANCO representative.
